Preston Adair earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Development with a concentration in Child Life from The University of Alabama, working in the Hematology and Oncology Department at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital before returning to Alabama.

Over the next three decades, Preston served in ministry support while also building a career in wellness and group fitness, experiences that deepened her passion for helping people flourish emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

Motivated by that calling, Preston earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She completed her clinical training at The University of Alabama Counseling Center and Full Well Counseling & Neurofeedback in Birmingham.

Preston is an Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC) practicing under the supervision of Lisa Keane, MAMFC, LPC-S, NCC.

Preston works with individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan, with particular passion for helping young adults navigate the transitions of college, relationships, vocation, and emerging adulthood, as well as walking alongside couples as they strengthen communication, deepen connection, and navigate life’s seasons together. She approaches counseling through developmental and relational lenses, recognizing how our life experiences and relationships shape emotional well-being, identity, and growth.

Preston counsels clients experiencing anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and holds a certification in EMDR through The EMDR Institute. She is committed to creating a safe, compassionate space where clients can experience healing, gain insight, and move toward greater wholeness and purpose.

Preston and her husband, Charlie, have been married for 30 years and have launched three adult children into the world. Outside the counseling office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, participating in group fitness, reading, and cooking.
